Established in 1865: Botham's Bakery, a Storied Legacy in Whitby

With roots dating back to 1865, Elizabeth Botham laid the foundation for her bakery in the historic fishing port of Whitby over a century and a half ago. Her journey commenced by offering her freshly baked bread and cakes from a humble basket at the local market. As time passed, her commitment to quality and taste propelled her to acquire the premises on Skinner Street.

Today, the enduring traditions of Botham's Bakery are in the capable hands of the fifth generation of Elizabeth's family. Their dedication to preserving her legacy ensures that the time-honoured art of crafting exceptional baked goods remains a cherished tradition in Whitby.
