HMS Selby

Named for the mercantile Selby built in Whitby in 1791. She was a trader in North Sea and Baltic until the navy purchased her in 1798, were she took on the title of HMS Selby and her intended use was as an armed convoy escort. She was also present an the Raid on Dunkirk.
